US police rescue terrified kitten from a storm drain, then their Crime Scene Technician adopts him!
When some Florida cops rescued a kitten from a storm drain one of them immediately fell in love - and now she’s about to adopt him.
In this heartwarming video Crime Scene Technician Stacey Sullivan can be seen hugging and comforting the kitten after it was rescued from certain death.
The rescue happened on Sunday [May 23, 2021] when members of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office noticed a crowd had gathered near a storm drain.
They pulled over to see what was going on and discovered a kitten had fallen into the storm drain.
With help from an off-duty firefighter, Deputy Watkins, Deputy Weller, Lt. DeWees and Stacey were able to assist in rescuing the terrified kitty.
The kitten, now known as Leonard, had his first vet visit on Tuesday and Stacey is now in the process of adopting him.
