The tactics of terrorism seem to have no end in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir on June 12. The incident took place in Sopore in the Baramulla district.

Visuals feature panic ensuing among everyone after a militant attack in the area. In the meantime, the armed troops are deployed to ensure the safety of the civilians while the casualties are immediately shifted to the hospital through ambulances and are provided the relevant treatment by the medical experts. Meanwhile, commotion occurs as terrorists open fire at the security forces while the troops attempt to ambush them.

The militants opened fire on a joint patrol of the police and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Arampora area of Sopore. In the attack, two civilians and two cops succumbed to their fatal injuries and were declared dead upon their arrival to the hospital while the area has been sealed to catch the suspected terrorists. Moreover, three policemen have been admitted to the hospital, along with another local, in a critical condition.

The act of violence has shaken the town, and officials suspect Lashkar-e-Taiba was behind the brutal attack. Following the intervention, people have extended their deepest sympathy to the kin of the deceased and are praying for the speedy recovery of the injured people.
