Staff members of South Africa's ruling African National Congress (ANC) sing a song honouring former ANC leader Oliver
"O R" Tambo. Tambo led the ANC in exile from 1967-1991 and was succeeded by Nelson Mandela as president of the ANC. Tambo passed away on 24 April 1993, a year before South Africa's first democratic elections.

ANC staff in its Western Cape provincial office were protesting against unpaid salaries, pension fund and medical aid contributions. It's believed that these missed payments have been occurring since 2018.
