Shocking video appears to show motorist driving into rider who fell off his bike
A driver appeared to deliberately knock over a motorcyclist after being forced to undertake on a busy road in China.
Dashcam video captured in Beijing on August 20 shows a white car knocking over the female motorcyclist, who fell down and rolled around in the middle of the road as the motorbike slid forward for several metres.
The white car ran fled and the motorcyclist called the police with the help of another motorist. The motorcyclist was injured and sent to hospital for treatment. She is now in stable condition and recovering at home.
The 57-year-old white car driver named Dai was detained for 15 days by the police, according to local reports.
