A snake catcher managed to capture a large cobra that had wriggled its way into a resident's home in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh.

Footage from September 26 shows the serpent expert named Akeel Baba attempting to lure the cobra from out the house.

He eventually manages to grasp the snake as it slithers from underneath a cupboard.

The cobra was then placed into a container where it'll be kept until it's released back into the wild.

In a bizarre event, a 6-feet-long cobra snake entered a house in central India's Madhya Pradesh on September 26. The incident took place in Sagar.

Visuals feature the reptile snuggling beneath an almirah. The snake catcher tries to lure it outside but eventually resorts to using a rod-like structure. He ultimately catches him and puts him inside a box.

The serpent expert, identified as Akeel Baba, who rescued the snake asserted that due to the continuous change in the weather and increasing humidity, poisonous animals are leaving their bills and making hides in the residential areas. Hence, it is extremely important to maintain safety in such times.
