Two compartments of a train derailed in central India's Madhya Pradesh, just days after a similar accident killed at least nine people and injured several others in the eastern state of West Bengal.

The incident took place at the Jabalpur station on January 14.

Visuals showed the derailed train stationed near the station.

According to reports, two sleeper coaches of 02134 Jabalpur-Bandra Terminus train derailed while entering platform number three.

Fortunately, there were no passengers since the train was coming from the yard/ shed.

However, services were disrupted at platforms three, four, and five.

Officials were able to resume services after two-and-half hours.

Meanwhile, the train, which was to depart at 5:00 pm, left around 9:00 pm.
