Four snakes entwined in rare mating knot writhe together on fence
Four snakes were seen twisted together in a rare mating knot while wriggling on a fence in Thailand.
Bizarre footage shows the quad of intertwined green tree snakes sliding on the edge of a metal fence in Bangkok on July 25.
Nature enthusiast Nam Fang said: 'I was walking across our neighbourhood when I saw these snakes. It was weird to look at and then I realised they were snakes.'
The snake mating knot, also sometimes called a mating ball, happens when male snakes converge on a desirable female which has been giving off pheromones during mating season.
