Two youngsters were seen carrying a huge python away on their motorcycles.

Footage shows the two vehicles with the 8ft snake between them, being held by their pillion passengers along a road in Saraburi province, Thailand. The group travelled to a remote area with a forest beside the bridge.

One of the motorcycle riders dragged the serpent to the edge and released it towards the thick trees and bushes.

Ratchanon Khantee, who was on the two-wheeler following behind, said: 'It was the third time that the snake returned to the house, so we rode to a farther forest to release it. We didn't have a sack, so we carried it that way.'

The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
