Talented artist draws 15 ink portraits of NBA players all at once
Footage shows how a talented artist can draw 15 ink portraits at the same time.
Junel Salido, 20, uses pens tied to a wooden stick to simultaneously draw NBA star players on separate pieces of paper.
Instead of focusing on just one portrait per sitting, Junel can make an impressive 15 sketches all at once by seemingly co-ordinating the delicate movements.
He said he learned to do so by mimicking online tutorials where artists drew pairs of illustrations at the same time. Once he mastered the technique, he honed his skills even further by increasing the number of sketches.
He also made simultaneous sketches of Philippine presidential candidates, and members of K-pop boy band BTS late last year.
The artist, from Agusan del Sur province, the Philippines, said: ‘I’m a big fan of NBA so I thought I’d make drawings of all the great players at the same time.’
More people took notice of Junel’s art after he posted time-lapses of himself sketching on social media. The portraits sell for P300 (about £4.50) to P1,200 (£17.5) each, which Junel uses to fund his schooling.
