British 'cocaine baron' attacks reveller with POOL BALL weeks before arrest in Manila
Shocking CCTV footage shows a British 'cocaine baron' attacking a reveller with a pool ball as chilling pictures emerged of him posing with his guns.
Notorious thug Darren Wall, 44, was on a Valentine's Day date with his glamorous wife Khanary Jane Abejo, 23, at the Secret Door nightclub in Manila, the Philippines, when a local 'looked at him the wrong way' in the early hours of February 15.
Darren is seen on camera repeatedly punching the man before hitting him over the head with a pool ball. He was bundled away before removing his sock and putting a ball inside it and returning a second time to smash the man in the face.
Cameras outside the nightspot show Darren continuing the rampage by punching another person then brandishing a handgun as he chases him down the street.
The alleged gangster from the East London was arrested on March 23 at the same nightclub, leading cops to uncover a 'treasure trove' of evidence against the 'British psychopath' which could see him jailed for life.
New pictures that police have uncovered show Wall posing menacingly with a handgun while flanked by four Filipino friends. Another shows him laughing with police while others show him on a cinema date with his wife.
Wall is alleged to have had cops on the payroll providing him with protection as he inflicted a vicious reign of terror on locals.
He is now locked up with violent inmates at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City amid accusations of kidnapping, extortion, drug dealing, assault, criminal damage and threats to kill. If convicted he faces a life sentence of 18 years without parole - with his family believing he will 'die in prison'.
A police source who supplied the videos and pictures seized during the current investigation said there is 'a very long queue of victims'.
They added: ‘We have spoken to some of the alleged victims but there’s a very long queue of people we are still interviewing. He was behaving like a psychopath. The attacks were unprovoked just because he felt like it or someone looked at him the wrong way.
‘We have gathered a lot of videos and pictures from Darren’s phone and computer. It’s a treasure trove of evidence.’
In a video of Darren inside his cramped cell, he is surrounded by violent inmates from China, Vietnam and the Philippines. He appears to be holding an injured arm and repeatedly refuses to answer questions. He denies any wrongdoing.
When his wife - who is also in custody - appears off screen, he says: ‘What’s all this stuff they’re talking about? You’re getting bad information. I haven’t been hurting no one. They attacked me.’
Police Colonel Michael Villanueva, District Chief of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), said Wall is facing a life sentence of 18 years without parole if he is found guilty of drug dealing and possessing a handgun.
There could be further charges added depending on the investigation. However, Wall could also dodge a deadly Philippine prison if prosecutors decide to deport him instead.
The policeman said: 'We conducted a record check and found out that he is facing a fraud charge according to Interpol records. We also have information that he is involved in scamming in other countries.
'We will be coordinating with the Bureau of Immigration regarding his deportation and also we will check his records.'
