A kitten was rescued after being found stuck inside a moving car.

The feline was heard crying while the driver travelled on her sedan in Prachin Buri province, Thailand on June 9.

Driver Tuk Katik was worried that the cat could be hurt so she drove towards the nearest mechanic shop and called the rescuers for help.

Footage shows the rescuers searching for the cat from under the vehicle while mimicking cute cat sounds to lure it out. Another clip shows the video from the car's dash cam when the cat was first heard crying somewhere inside the car.

Relieved car owner Tuk said: ‘I went to a garage immediately. I was afraid that I could hurt the cat. The rescuers were so kind to help me. I'm happy to have a new little friend now.'

The kitten was adopted by the car owner to live with her.
