A pet kitten was rescued after it crawled into its owner's car engine and becme stuck.

Naratchaorn Sirawitchaidech had attempted to free her pet from inside her electric vehicle in Phitsanulok province but was unable to reach it, prompting her to call the emergency services for assistance.

Rescue teams arrived and discovered the kitten stuck in the engine compartment.

Using a special tool to secure the animal gently, they carefully turned a wheel to create enough space to reach in and pull the kitten out.

They spent around 10 minutes working to safely extract the kitten without injury, before returning it to its grateful owner.

Naratchaorn explained that she has three cats, all of which came from a stray that gave birth at her home.

Two of the kittens were adopted by others, while she kept the remaining two females and one male, usually keeping them in a cage for safety.

On July 16, she realised her cats were missing and began searching the area around her house, but was unable to find them.

Later that day, while preparing to do laundry, she spotted two of the kittens suddenly falling from beneath her car.

One of them narrowly avoided being crushed by a wheel and ran into a nearby shop before eventually returning to her.

Shortly after, the third kitten was found trapped inside the vehicle and was rescued by emergency responders.
