A first-time mum from Leicester has left TikTok users in tears of laughter after sharing a hilarious video of her cat "plotting" to kill her baby.

Grace Robinson, 19, recently shared a photo montage of her daughter Emilia Bea Robinson, born last month, online.

However, in all of the pictures, there is something spooky lurking in the background.

A serious-looking cat can be seen in the shots, glaring straight at the camera – and that feline is Grace's 12-year-old cat, Harvey, who isn't a very big fan of sharing attention.

"POV: your cat is trying to kill your baby," the caption reads with warped Adele backing music in the background of the clip.

Social media users have been left in stitches, with the clip racking up over 700,000 views and 144,800 likes.

One viewer wrote: "THE LAST ONE HAS ME IN TEARS."

"I’m actually in tears I have been laughing at this for about 15 minutes," said someone else.

"That cat is relatable," wrote another user.

"THE LAST ONE IM CRYING," someone else added. [sic]

"Cat’s looking at the baby like “excuse me! That’s my seat!" wrote one person.

"The last one- im literally scared," commented one more user. [sic]

The cat's signature glare was first noticed by Grace's mum, Emma, 48, whilst she was trying to take a picture of the month-old baby.

"Harvey was just staring at my mum, which she found funny so she took the photo," Grace told NeedToKnow.online.

"The whole family couldn’t stop laughing and from then on, anytime he was in the background (which was quite often) and was staring like usual, we would take a picture and share it in the family group chat.

"The last picture in the video is my favourite because I actually didn’t notice him in the background until after the picture was taken.

"My initial reaction was just pure laughter.

"Harvey is such a funny cat, he does so many things that are just bizarre.

"I constantly find myself laughing at the things he does so this was just another one of them occasions."

Despite the glares that the cat may appear to have on the pictures, Grace is not worried about his relationship with Emilia.

She added: "I can honestly say I’m not worried at all about my cat's relationship with my daughter.

"Harvey is the softest most friendly cat ever, he wouldn’t intentionally hurt or intimidate anyone he just wants fuss and cuddles!

"Away from the camera, Harvey is just fine with Emilia; to be honest if anything he’s not really bothered by her.

"So there is absolutely no concern at all, and if there was I obviously wouldn’t post a TikTok like that.

"I’m just glad that the video has made people smile and am very overwhelmed with the lovely comments about both Harvey and Emilia!"
