Woman leaves TikTok users floored after revealing REAL flavour of McDonald's sweet 'n' sour sauce.

A woman has left TikTok users in shock after revealing what flavour McDonald's sweet n' sour sauce really is.

Evan-May Gillott, 27, was left "shaken" after finding out her favourite fast food sauce was actually made from fruit.

The 27-year-old posted her revelation online, revealing to her followers that the sweet n' sour sauce is bizarrely made from apricot.

Evan-May's video now has over 242,000 views and 13,000 likes, many viewers were left shocked by the discovery.

In the clip posted online, Evan-May discloses the secret ingredient, saying: "Am I the only one who didn't know what fruit it is made from until today?"

She then gets her followers to try and guess the ingredient before she reveals at the end of the clip that the sauce is actually made from apricot.

Viewers were quick to have their say on Evan-May's findings.

"I said mango SO confidently I had no idea that it was even a fruit this is all i eat and i would never think" said one user." [sic]

Another person wrote: "Lol I said banana cos i thought it’d be something rouge." [sic]

"No wonder I don’t like it!! Curry girl till I die," added another person. [sic]

One viewer said: "Hahahaahahahahahaha, the worst fruit to exist makes the tastiest sauce." [sic]

"I was 100% convinced it was pineapple, maybe cos they put it in the little tubs when you get a Chinese" said someone else. [sic]

"When I found out it was apricot I was shaken to my core as didn’t even associate it with a fruit," Evan-May told NeedToKnow.Online.

"I’ve eaten sweet ’n’ sour sauce from McDonald's for years to go with my chippies, I’ve always loved it.

"About a week ago I won a free meal through the monopoly and whilst eating the sauce I just became curious of what is was actually made of.

"So I read the ingredients and was completely shocked to find out it was it was from apricots."

"I’ve never actually thought about it, but now I’m wondering about all sorts of condiments - I mean what about Brown!! They’re just so elusive."

Evan-May shared her revelation with the hopes of making people laugh.

She added: "I assumed that everybody wouldn’t know as well, so had to share my discovery with my fellow McDonald’s lovers.

"Turns out everybody is as surprised as me, and I’ve even now found out the curry sauce uses Apricot as well."
