Thai schoolchildren were taught how to respond to shootings following the savage nursery massacre in the country last month.

Footage shows the youngsters curling up in a fetal position and covering their heads while police taught them survival skills at the Thai Christian School in Bangkok on November 1.

School staff had invited officers from the Khlong Tan Metropolitan Police for the seminar following the brutal murders that happened on October 6.

Disgraced cop Panya Khamrab, who was dismissed over his methamphetamine addiction, killed 34 people before turning the gun on himself in the Uthai Sawan district of Nong Bua Lamphu province, northern Thailand, on October 6

He fired a handgun and shotgun in the nursery and stabbed children inside with a machete before continuing the killing spree outside. He then killed his wife and child before shooting himself.

The bloody incident is said to be the deadliest mass shooting by a single perpetrator in Thailand's history.
