Hungry wild monkeys steal eggs from pickup truck stuck in traffic in Thailand
Hungry wild monkeys stole eggs from the back of a pickup truck stuck in traffic in Thailand.
The troupe was waiting by the roadside when they ransacked the vehicle caught in a jam in Lopburi province on December 26.
Footage shows the primates taking the brown eggs from the container. The starving animals stuffed the eggs into their mouths while the others quickly escaped with their loot.
Driver Bow Wy said she bought the eggs from a stall but forgot that she would pass by the area swarmed with monkeys.
She said: ‘I was going to boil the eggs when I reach home. The monkeys seemed to like it raw very much.'
The driver tried to scare the animals away but she said they were too stubborn.
She said: ‘They did not stop until they took all the eggs.'
