A cheating husband opened fire in a brothel shooting his favorite prostitute while his wife waited outside before turning the gun on himself.

Wutthichai Pramkratok, 32, visited the shop on Sunday afternoon January 15, armed with a handgun following a turbulent fling with sex worker Aoychay Phachomphon, 22, from Laos.

He arrived with his wife Panida Pramkratok, 27, and their two-year-old daughter, who waited outside the 'Yan Wang' parlor in Bangkok, Thailand.

Panida told police she became restless before hearing several gunshots as Aoychay and her cousin Souli Phimsi, 31, collapsed in pain screaming and covered in blood. Aoychay was hit in her chest and arm while Aoychay was hit twice in his leg.

Love triangle cheat Wutthichai then blasted himself in the head, dying instantly.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Wasu Noicharoen said: 'The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident. All of the witness accounts matched with CCTV.

'We are now interviewing the wife of the deceased to investigate why the situation happened.'

Police found an 11mm pistol and five bullet shells at the scene.

The prostitute and her relative were both seriously injured but conscious and were taken to the Nakornthon Hospital.

After the incident, the shooter's wife Panida was crying while being consoled by the staff. She said that they had been together for six years and had one daughter.

Wuttichai worked at a fertiliser and chemicals company and was also a volunteer paramedic.

Panida said knew about the affair with younger woman Aoychay for around four months after finding the pair's exchanges on the Line messaging application.

Panida said she argued with her husband and told him to stop seeing the younger woman. Her husband promised to not keep in touch with Aoychay, who left the city for a month.

After that, Wutthichai's 'behaviour changed' so she asked about the younger woman. He told Panida that if she did not trust him, he would 'sort things out' with Aoychay.

She claimed she knew that Wuttichai had a gun but did not know that he would carry it during the incident.

Panida added: 'If I knew he was carrying a gun, I would have called that woman to tell her to escape.'

Meanwhile, the manager of the hostess bar said that Aoychay had met Wuttichai at a previous brothel she worked at.

They said: 'Aoychay wanted to break up with Wuttichai but he refused so she had to escape to Laos for around a month before coming back and working at this store for five days. Then Wuttichai visited her every day.'

On the day of the incident, she was having a meal with Souli before Wuttichai came and shot them both.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Wasu Noicharoen said officers will conduct a further investigation while Wutthichai's corpse will be sent to Siriraj Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
