Pet cat with legs stuck in metal gate rescued by paramedics
A hapless pet cat with its legs stuck in a metal gate was rescued by paramedics in Thailand.
The brown-and-white female feline was slipping through the grates at home in Chonburi province when its feet were caught in the gate's curled design on January 27.
Homeowner Somboon and his wife were watching TV past midnight when they heard the cat's cries of distress.
When they checked outside, they found their beloved pet trapped with its hind legs twisted, prompting them to call a rescue team.
Using a hammer, the paramedics wrought the steel loose while the injured moggie wailed in pain.
The rescue only took 10 minutes, and the cat was seen limping away back home.
Somboon said: 'We were watching TV dramas late at night when we heard the cat's non-stop screeching outside. It turned out that its leg was stuck on the gate. We are grateful to the rescue team who came to save it.'
