Tractor runs over girl in Odisha, miraculously escapes with minor injury
In a miraculous incident, a young girl had a brush with death after being run over by a tractor in the Mayurbhanj district in Eastern India.
CCTV footage captured the shocking incident as the tractor slowly moved on the road, while the girl cycled carefully on the same road.
Suddenly, the oncoming tractor with 2-3 people inside collided with the girl and knocked her down from the front.
Despite her attempts to get up, the tractor ran over her completely, as horrified pedestrians shouted and watched.
Fortunately, the girl was saved by a drain and miraculously survived the accident unscathed.
Sources report that the eight-class girl student was returning home after her coaching class at the time of the incident.
The girl was later identified as the daughter of Sharat Chandra Rout from Oldhia village of Baisinga police station.
Although she sustained a minor injury to her left eye, she was in a state of shock.
The police of Baisinga Police Station have confiscated the tractor and the cycle involved in the accident, and an investigation is currently ongoing. No case has been registered yet.
