Hotel guest in China horrified after finding nest of dead mice under his pillow
A man staying at an esports hotel in eastern China was left disgusted after he found a nest of dead newborn mice under his pillow.
Horrifying video filmed in the city of Nanchang in Jiangxi Province on March 23 shows a group of dead mice pups under a guest's pillow.
The guest named Liu had been playing games until 2:00 am and was ready to rest when he heard strange noises coming from beneath his pillow.
Upon investigating, he discovered a group of finger-sized mice covered in blood.
The hotel staff immediately switched Liu's room after the incident, citing that they had never encountered such a situation before.
The hotel claimed that the mice may have come from the nearby residential area, where they usually run on the ceilings but not in guest rooms.
They also stated that they take regular measures to eliminate mice and change pillowcases every day.
In response to the incident, Mr Liu said he was even more disgusted to see the mice in a state where he had accidentally crushed them to death after laying on the pillow.
Liu has requested a public apology from the hotel and an assurance that such incidents will not happen again in the future.
He said that he is not seeking any compensation, but merely wants to prevent this from happening to other guests.
The video was provided by Mr Liu.
