Hilarious moment fan girls feigns a fall at Korean actor meet-and-greet
This is the hilarious moment a fangirl feigned a fall to get attention during a meet-and-greet event with her favourite Korean actor.
K-pop fanatic and mother Rica Mia Garcia, 25, went to actor and model Lee Jong Suk's event with her sister in Pasay City, the Philippines, on April 16.
But after waiting for hours to finally see her idol, Rica thought of an amusing ‘hack' to be with him for a brief moment longer and get his attention.
Footage shows Rica faking her fall in front of Lee Jong Suk as the baffled actor looked on. While overzealous security asked her to move on, her friend followed closely behind.
Rica said: ‘Lee Jong Suk doesn't come here often, so I thought I should do what it takes to make the most of it and did the hack. It's worth it in the end.'
Fans in the arena cheered when Rica unexpectedly fell, with most of them unaware that she had planned it with her sister who was walking closely behind her when she plunged to the floor.
A second woman then appeared on stage with a limp - also seemingly pretending to be injured.
However, the organisers quickly ushered the woman along as she appeared to continue pretending to drag one of her legs to keep the traffic of fans going.
Rica added: ‘It will be one of the most unforgettable moments in my life.'
Lee Jong Suk from South Korea started as a runway model in 2005 before doing roles in television dramas and movies.
