Car crashes into store resulting in killing 1 and injuring 2 in southern China
In the video filmed in Liuyang, Hunan province, southern China, a white car suddenly lost control and crashed into a roadside store, shattering the shelves and tables inside. Several elderly people were chatting near the entrance of the store when the incident occurred. One elderly person was directly knocked down by the car's front end, while others fled in panic. A woman was also struck in the lower body, causing cries of distress at the scene. Witnesses at the scene immediately called for help, while the occupants of the car stepped out to provide assistance.
According to information obtained from local village committees by informed sources, the accident resulted in the death of one elderly person and injuries to two others.
The authorities have already been involved in handling the situation. It has been reported that the driver responsible for the incident is a woman. She exited the vehicle after the accident to assess the situation and got into a dispute with onlookers. Her identity and motive remain unclear at this time.
