High-rise wall peeling damages cars in northern China
A high-rise residential building experienced a massive exterior wall peeling incident, resulting in significant damage to multiple parked vehicles below in China.
CCTV footage filmed in Shenyang City in Liaoning Province on August 16 shows debris striking vehicles parked along the road, with fragments even splattering into the ground-floor auto repair shop.
According to the owner of the auto repair shop, the 10-year-old high-rise building had encountered similar incidents before. This time, the debris damaged several cars, totalling seven.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the vehicle owners are currently in discussions with the property management regarding compensation for the damages.
