This is the bizarre moment a wailing woman pulled a man's shorts down while begging for forgiveness because she accidentally crashed into his car.

The woman was reportedly riding a scooter when she illegally changed lanes and collided with a white sedan in the town of Jinhua, in Zhejiang Province, eastern China on August 28.

Luckily, no one was injured but the car suffered a scraped in the accident. Apparently aware she was at fault, the woman voluntarily knelt to the ground and pulled out CNY 200 (GBP 21) and offered it to the driver as compensation.

But the man reportedly refused and insisted they refer the matter to law enforcement.

Footage shows the crying woman then beginning to tug on the man's brown shorts and pleading for forgiveness.
