Video game fanatic builds awesome 'Mobile Legends' golem costume out of cardboard boxes
A video game fanatic built an awesome golem costume out of cardboard boxes for a cosplay competition in the Philippines.
Jason Paul Glina painstakingly cut up, glued together, and painted pieces of carton to make his detailed 'Grock' outfit, based on the character from the cellphone video game 'Mobile Legends'.
He said the incredibly detailed suit - depicting a craggy, moss-covered rock titan - took two weeks to make. He had entered the costume in a local contest in Sorsogon City, Sorsogon province.
Though his cosplay did not win any awards, Jason said he was happy his efforts were recognised by the audience.
He said: 'I am a nature lover so I chose to cosplay Grock. Before the contest, I went around asking for unused cardboard boxes. I pieced everything together and painted all of it by hand.'
