This is the terrifying moment a huge python glided through floods covering a road in eastern Thailand on Tuesday 3 October.

Footage shows the deadly reptile casually swimming against the currents carrying muddy water following heavy rain in Rayong province.

Onlooker Benjawan Seetan said she was stuck inside a car while waiting for the flood to subside when she spotted the snake slithering through the floating debris.

She said: 'It's my first time seeing a snake swim in a flood like this. There were people walking through the flood, so it could have attacked them.'
