The Kamchatka branch of the Russian Expert Council on earthquake forecasting, seismic hazard assessment, and volcanic risk in the Kamchatka Territory has issued a warning regarding the ongoing summit effusive-explosive eruption of the Klyuchevsky volcano. The eruption has the potential to release ash up to 8000 meters above sea level, posing significant hazards to the region.

Rescuers strongly advise residents and visitors of the Kamchatka Peninsula to avoid approaching the erupting Klyuchevskoye volcano and, in particular, refrain from attempting to climb it, as this could be life-threatening. It is highly recommended not to engage the services of "gray" travel agencies that offer tours to the erupting volcano for payment, as safety cannot be guaranteed.

Additionally, there is a possibility of volcanic ashfall in populated areas, which could lead to incidents and emergencies on the Milkovo - Klyuchi - Ust-Kamchatsk highway. Crossing rivers swollen due to melting glaciers is extremely perilous. Near the volcano, the concentration of harmful gases from vapor-gas emissions may exceed safe levels, and approaching the eruption could result in exposure to ashfall, potentially causing allergic reactions and vehicle damage.
