Buddhist monk goes on amusing rodeo ride for ordination
A novice Buddhist monk went on an amusing rodeo ride as part of his ordination rites at a temple in Suphanburi, Thailand, on April 2.
Footage shows the devotee battling to stay on the artificial horse as it was shaken violently by villagers in front of a temple.
Onlooker Jariya Jeenkhaokham said: 'If you really want to be ordained, you have to go through this ritual which is considered one of the traditions in our village.'
