A Tesla collided with 11 cars, injuring 3 in southern China.

The dashcam video was filmed in Chengdu City in Sichuan Province on November 25.

The collision resulted in three individuals sustaining minor injuries, all promptly receiving medical attention at a nearby hospital.

An eyewitness recounted the dramatic scene, describing a white Tesla rushing out from the ramp and colliding with 11 consecutive vehicles. The impact generated a cacophony of crashing sounds, scattering vehicle components, even sending two tires of the Tesla flying. The safety airbags in the Tesla also deployed.

On November 26th, the car owner, Mr Wang, clarified that he had cooperated with authorities in the investigation, confirming no involvement in driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

The vehicle, just registered on the morning of the accident, was not operating in autopilot or single-pedal mode at the time. Wang reported a sudden acceleration as the vehicle passed an intersection, leading to a loss of control.

Currently, the authorities are conducting a technical assessment of Wang's vehicle, and he has reached out to the car manufacturer, who assured him that their after-sales department would address the matter.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
