A brave elderly lady named Shakuntala Devi from Dabar colony in Haryana Rohtak city showed astonishing courage when she chased armed goons away, armed only with a broom.

CCTV footage showed the gunmen arriving on a motorbike and then starting to shoot.

After they injured her youngest son, she chased them away with a broomstick.

The son, Harikisan Hariya, was standing outside the house when the men arrived. He then ran inside with bullet injuries.

He is currently being treated for his wounds.

It is not clear what was behind the altercation.
