In a dramatic incident caught on CCTV in Moradabad's Peetal Nagri area, an elderly woman courageously confronted an armed man using only a wooden baton, while others around her fled the scene in fear.

The incident occurred on May 24 in the Katghar police station limits, where a dispute over money between two friends escalated into violence. According to police, Mohsin, described as a local strongman, opened fire outside the house of his friend Aslam over a long-standing financial disagreement.

The firing was recorded on CCTV and shows the elderly woman—believed to be a relative—bravely charging at the gunman with her lathi as shots were fired, forcing him to retreat. Meanwhile, men from the neighborhood were seen running away.

The victim has filed a complaint with the police, and Moradabad authorities have taken cognizance of the incident. An investigation is underway.
