A Good Samaritan saved the trapped motorists from a burning van in northern China.

The video was filmed in Cangzhou City in Hebei Province on February 18.

A villager named Gao and his friend were driving when they noticed a fire erupting in the back of their van. Despite his friend being asleep in the back seat, Gao immediately sprung into action, trying to extinguish the flames with whatever he could find in the car.

Unfortunately, in his panic, he ended up crashing the vehicle into a tree by the side of the road, trapping them both inside as the flames and smoke engulfed the van.

Fortunately, passerby Sun Mingsheng noticed the thick smoke emanating from the van and rushed to investigate. Seeing the trapped occupants,

Sun bravely pulled Gao out of the driver's seat just as flames burst out from inside the vehicle. Gao's friend, however, was in a state of shock and unable to move. With his hand burned during the rescue, Sun didn't hesitate to assist further, helping both occupants away from the burning vehicle to safety.

Despite the rainy conditions making the road slippery, Sun managed to escort Gao and his friend to a safe location. Gao's friend, who was semi-conscious, was laid down on Sun's coat while they waited for help. With the help of other passersby, Sun transported Gao's friend to the hospital for treatment, where he later regained consciousness.

Gao and his friend, deeply grateful for Sun's heroic actions, tried to contact him to express their gratitude but were respectfully declined. Sun modestly downplayed his role, stating that his only concern was ensuring the safety of those involved.

It was later revealed that Sun was the general manager of Tianjin Fangyuan Dadi Oilfield Services Co., Ltd., who happened to be in the area on business and stumbled upon the accident scene.
