Tour boat engulfed in flames in southern Thailand
A holiday liveaboard boat was engulfed in flames off southern Thailand.
Footage shows the inferno ravaging the diving vessel near the Thap Lamu pier in Phang Nga province on Tuesday evening April 2.
Sangob Satone, head of the Phang Nga Provincial Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Office, said: 'The boat was a scuba diving boat that came to anchor at the pier.
'There were no passengers at the time and the one person onboard was seen jumping into the water to escape.'
Firefighters and the navy brought the fire under control within an hour. Authorities were tracking down the boat's owner for investigation.
Officials have not yet clarified the cause of the fire.
