On May 3rd, in Fugong County, Nujiang, southern China, Mrs. Geng found herself in a precarious situation when her car began to roll backward while she had stopped temporarily on a slope without engaging the handbrake. As she attempted to get back into the car to apply the brakes, she stumbled and nearly got run over. Fortunately, at that critical moment, the driver of an oncoming bus noticed the situation and quickly brought the vehicle to a halt, rushing forward to stop the car within just 10 seconds.

Mrs. Geng explained that she had stopped her car temporarily to retrieve some items from the bus. However, she forgot to engage the handbrake. Upon seeing her car rolling backward, she rushed to open the door to get back in and apply the handbrake. Unfortunately, she only managed to get one foot inside before falling out. She expressed deep gratitude to the bus driver for his courageous act of rushing to control the rolling car, averting a potential disaster. Luckily, there were no other vehicles passing by during this incident.
