USA: Driver Trapped Under Car on Eastbound 10 Freeway Fatal
Los Angeles, United States - July 03, 2024
07/03/2024 05:30 am (GMT-0700) | POMONA, Calif. – CHP received multiple 911 calls of a traffic collision with a vehicle on its roof eastbound 10 Freeway just before Kellogg Drive in the city of Pomona. Once firefighters arrived on the scene, they located an overturned vehicle on its roof with one person trapped underneath. CHP and Los Angeles County Fire Department received additional 911 calls of one person being ejected out of the vehicle and onto the nearby hillside. Firefighters checked the hillside but were unable to locate a second victim. LACoFD had requested additional resources to assist with the overturned vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics were able free the driver from underneath the vehicle and was pronounced deceased at the scene. A Sig Alert was issued for an unknown duration for the eastbound 10 Freeway
