Mountain collapses onto highway in India
This is the dramatic moment a mountain collapsed onto a highway in India.
Footage shows a fast-moving landslide hurtling down the slope and covering the Badrinath National Highway in Chamoli, Uttarakhand, on July 10.
Uttarakhand Police said: 'The road has been blocked due to a landslide from the hill near Patalganga Langsi Tunnel on Badrinath National Highway.'
There were no immediate reports of injuries or casualties.
Traffic movement in the area was halted as large boulders obstructed the mountain road.
The landslide came as heavy rain caused widespread disruption in Uttarakhand state amid the monsoon season.
