Gaza - July 28, 2024

Storyline:
The ongoing Israeli attacks have killed 39,363 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and injured 90,923 others, health authorities in the besieged enclave said Monday.

Over the past 24 hours, the Israeli forces carried out three operations in Gaza, leaving 39 deaths and 93 injuries, said the health authorities in a statement.

Prospects for a ceasefire in Gaza is still not promising after a Sunday meeting held in Rome, gathering officials from Israel, the United States, Qatar and Egypt, which reported no apparent progress.

Israeli media said that the stagnant situation was created by an even-tougher Israeli position.
