China is encouraging Japanese companies to increase their investments in the country with more market access and a better business environment as incentives.
Some well-established companies, like this precision equipment manufacturer, have been building their presence in China for years.
The firm makes automotive angle sensors and components used in industrial robots and says roughly a quarter of its global annual sales-120 million U.S. dollars- are generated in China.
The company plans to build another factory later this year with an aim of doubling production capacity.
