This is the moment police rounded up escaped cattle in South Dakota.

Police officers Stephen and Alex, along with Animal Control officer Clint, gathered the runaway cows in Belle Fourche on September 19.

Footage shows the officials riding horses to chase the animals.

Local reports said that the pursuit led the men to tour some of the area's landmarks, including the Moose Lodge, a local trailer court, the Christian Life Center, and even past Monument Health to retrieve the mischievous creatures.

With the assistance of a resident named Trish, who lent her corral and equestrian skills, they managed to capture the cows.

The animals were not harmed during the chase and are safely sheltered in a corral on Willow Creek Road.
