A man in Bhagalpur, Bihar carried a live snake to the hospital after being bitten by it in Northern India
On 15 October,Tuesday night, 48-year-old Prakash Mandal was bitten by a Russell viper snake in his home in the Meerachak village of the Zeromaile police station area of Bhagalpur, the man brought it with him to the hospital to help identify the species.
Footage shows Prakash Mandal with a Russell's Viper wrapped around his neck. He was holding its snake head as he arrived at the Medicine Emergency Department of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in Bhagalpur, Bihar.
The doctors and people present in the hospital were stunned after seeing the scene.
