Classical orchestra plays outside shrine in Bangkok
A classical orchestra played Disney's Mulan song outside a religious shrine in Thailand.
Footage shows the musical ensemble performing 'Reflection' from the animated movie at the front of the Ganesha Shrine in the Huai Khwang area of Bangkok on November 2.
The Life Symphony Orchestra joined the event to commemorate the death anniversary of Suchart Rattanasuk who created the Hindu shrine.
While the vent was organised by Thanandon Rattanasuk, the artist's son.
Onlooker Chanachai Chomchin who watched the performance said: 'The orchestra made such a grand offering to the shrine. Their music was beautiful.'
Mulan is an animated film released by Disney in 1998, with a live-action adaptation released in 2020. The story follows Mulan, a young Chinese woman who disguises herself as a man to take her elderly father's place in the army when an invasion threatens China
Its original soundtrack, 'Reflection', was originally performed by Filipino Broadway singer Lea Salonga.
