This is the tense moment that a brown bear entered a roadside store in China, rummaging for food as the clerk sleeping at the counter awoke to the noise.

In the early hours of August 5, 2024, a surveillance camera in Tibet recorded a startling scene as a brown bear skillfully opened the door and invaded a local store before it starts searching through the counter.

The startled clerk, awakened by the rustling sounds, discreetly gets up and, seizing his phone, hurries out of the shop to safety.

According to Mr. Zhang, the clerk of the store, the bear was apparently in search of food and managed to enter the store by itself.

Fortunately, the encounter did not result in any injuries or significant damage to the store.

Following the event, local police were immediately dispatched to the scene. Additional patrols have been deployed in an effort to locate and safely drive the bear away from the populated area.
