House damaged by rampaging wild bull in rural Thailand
This is the moment a house was damaged by a rampaging bull in Thailand.
Footage shows the wild gaur tearing through villager Sanit Pradit's yard in Prachin Buri province on January 7.
Prawatsart Chanthep, chief of the Thap Lan National Park, said the creature had earlier escaped from the sprawling wildlife sanctuary in the northeastern province. It reportedly had an eye problem and was at risk of attacking villagers in the area.
The park official said: 'Wildlife officers from relevant organisations are monitoring the area to prevent people from approaching the gaur. We believe it had wandered deep into the forest.'
He added that the search for the animal was ongoing.
Gaurs are large, wild bovines native to South and Southeast Asia. They are the largest species of wild cattle, known for their massive size and muscular build.
