An escaped baby cow stormed into a family's home looking for food.

The juvenile bovine named Thiang broke free from her field and found the open door to go inside. She made a beeline for cupboards before the shocked residents noticed.

Footage shows the curious brown calf standing in the living room when Mintar and her relative discovered it at the home in Phichit, Thailand, on January 18.

They asked the cow to leave and it walked back to the entrance, hitting furniture along the way. It even slipped on the smooth tiled floor but quickly stood up to exit the home.

Mintar said: 'Instead of eating the grass outside Thiang escaped from the field and walked inside when the door was open. She was attracted by the smell of food.'
