Los Angeles, United States - January 29, 2025 01/29/2025 03:00 am (GMT-0800) HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department North Hollywood officers were conducting traffic control for a crash at Barham and Cahuenga Boulevard when a suspected DUI driver blew through the stop, almost struck officers and collided with an unknown object before driving off. Officers immediately pursued the hit-and-run driver into the Hollywood area, down into Wilshire Division, Beverly Hills and then back into the Hollywood area, where the suspect vehicle stopped at Larrabee Street near Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, bringing the pursuit to an end, according to the LAPD. The suspect was taken into custody with an apparent injury from the collision of what was initially reported at the scene to be a bloody nose. An LAPD spokesperson told Key News Network that the suspect was transported to a local hospital. A DUI investigation is underway.
