The Guardia Civil is investigating at least five men, aged 19 to 40, for performing careless stunts with nearly 200 vehicles and 600 spectators, causing chaos.

Footage shows cars drifting inches from pedestrians, who scrambled to dodge the skidding tyres.

One clip captures a passenger hanging out of a speeding car while performing dangerous manoeuvres, unsecured and at risk of a deadly fall.

Another vehicle drifts without tyres, its rim grinding against the road and throwing sparks.

The suspects were charged with reckless driving, showing a 'manifest contempt' for life. A sixth individual is also under investigation for organising the gathering.
