Thirsty pet cat drinks water on Buddhist shrine
A thirsty pet cat climbed onto a Buddhist shrine and drank water from an offering bowl.
The five-month-old tabby named Tung Ngoen scaled the religious structure where there was a container with water intended for deities in Bangkok, Thailand.
Footage shows Tung Ngoen slurping from the bowl on the platform with gold-coloured decorations.
Tung Ngoen, a stray cat that visited Tor Sarakhun's home regularly, calmly sat on the shrine while drinking on March 13.
Tor said: 'The cat is a stray but comes to our home so we named it. The owner left it in front of the house.
'Tur Ngoen is very cute and adorable.'
Buddhism is the official religion of Thailand where it was followed by more than 95 per cent of the population.
