This is the hilarious moment a pair of British tourists found two lizards blocking their way to their hotel.

Kian Macaulay, 19, and his brother Leo, spotted the Tokay geckos as they headed to their room on the island of Koh Samui in southern Thailand on April 2.

Footage shows the reptiles clinging to the stairs. As they walked by, the animals could be seen jumping and crawling on the walls, avoiding them.

Kian, from Atherton, Manchester, says in the video: 'Me and Leo have just come back from shopping... look at these little guys.'

The holidaymaker laughs as the gecko hops away.

'Go on, you do something, entertain me, look at it. Right, I actually want to get up, so don't attack me.'

Tokay geckos are usually shy and non-aggressive unless they feel cornered or threatened. They tend to avoid human contact and are more likely to run away or hide than attack.
