US, Los Angeles: Bellflower Bicyclist Struck And Killed On 91 Freeway Possible Hit And Run
Los Angeles, United States - April 08, 2025 04/08/2025 11:56 pm (GMT-0800) BELLFLOWER, Calif. – A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle on the eastbound side of State Route 91, near the Bellflower off-ramp. Initial reports indicated that emergency responders arrived on the scene around midnight to find the person in the number 4 lane. It is believed they may have been riding a bicycle prior to the collision. Firefighters administered CPR upon their arrival, but the individual was pronounced dead shortly after, according to the CHP traffic incident information page. The L.A. County Medical Examiner was called to respond to the incident. In response to the fatality, authorities requested the closure of multiple lanes on the freeway and shut down access from the Clark on-ramp. The investigation into the collision is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released later.
