Brave policeman takes down fleeing motorcycle rider with bare hands
This is the dramatic moment a brave police officer takes down a fleeing motorcycle rider with his bare hands.
Footage shows the biker speeding away after being initially stopped by authorities in Altai Krai, southern Russia, on April 10.
A quick-thinking officer, determined not to let him escape, immediately sprinted after him on foot.
Astonishingly, the video reveals how he caught up with the rider and grabbed the pillion of the rapidly disappearing bike, fully extending his reach.
The officer's grip unbalanced the motorcycle, causing the rider to tumble to the ground as the vehicle fell sideways. The heroic official quickly jumped up to prevent the suspect from running away.
A police spokesman told local media: 'The officer caught up with the biker and dragged him onto the asphalt with his bare hands.
'Now the biker, who broke all the rules, will definitely have a lot of problems.'
